Web Design FAQ's
I
have never heard of Simply Web Services LLC. or SimplyFredericksburg. Who
is actually designing your web page/site? Does this person have a background
in web development? What company is doing all the work?
At
Simply Web Services we have been designing web pages and web based applications for over 10
years. Our experienced designer has developed sites and applications for
the United States Marine Corps and many other companies and individuals,
both large and small. Some of the sites we have designed are located
within our portfolio.
The
other web designers I have talked to keep telling me I need a guest book
(or something else), I don't want one, are you going to try to sell me
one too? It seems like they only want to jack up the price.
It
is our belief that if you actually don't need the fancy gizmo that every
one else is trying to sell you, we won't sell it to you. We will explain
every option we offer and help you decide if it for you. No pressure ever.
I
think it is very important to see what other sites a developer has done.
I want to see if it is eye pleasing, loads quickly and are easy to use.
More importantly do all the links and buttons function?
We strongly agree, again, we will help you decide what your site should look like; after all, it is your site, not ours. We will provide you with ideas, and a listing of some other web sites on the internet that may interest you. Most companies will have a large
portfolio
of sites "they" designed. Noticed that the word "they" is
highlighted. The company name may have hired the employee that designed the page, but where is that employee now?
But none the less we too have a portfolio
of sites we have designed. Not all of the sites we have designed are available
on the public internet (military sites are generally on separate networks
not accessible to the general public). This partial listing can be seen
in our portfolio.
What
if I don't like the final product?
Though
this has never happened yet, It can and some day probably will. We will
make every effort to work with you throughout the design process to make
sure that this does not happen, but if it does we will adjust the site
to your liking. No pressure ever.
