On all of our servers we use a "live mirror" on-line backup approach. Backups are kept on a dedicated backup drive (not tape) and rotated nightly/weekly/monthly. The backup drives are used only for that purpose (i.e., no customer data is stored to it, no logging is done directly to it). The drives are a little more than 2X the size of the main drive in the machine. This ensures that all data is quickly backed up and expedites that restoration process.

All virtual server clients have data backup services as a part of the monthly hosting fees. Our commitment to reliability shows with our financial investment in these backup units. Please keep in mind that the purpose of our backup is for disaster recovery and not the "Oops I deleted a file". As always, we recommend that users keep their own backups

We have power backup solutions in place in the rare chance of power failure. We currently use several APC UPS Symmetra power backup solutions to provide our data center with hours of power in case of power failure.
